This page describes how the Doczilla website is currently designed to handle information. Update it if you add analytics, accounts, advertising, a backend, or other services.
Files you choose
PDF tools run in your browser. The current tools read the files you select locally and create the output in your browser; this website does not send those files to a Doczilla-operated upload server. Your browser may save the result to your device when you download it. Some PDF features depend on third-party JavaScript libraries loaded from CDNs.
Doczilla cannot control how your browser, device, extensions, or network handle files. Do not use a shared or untrusted device for confidential documents, and check the output before relying on it.
Information from third-party services
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and PDF-processing libraries from jsDelivr and cdnjs, including Tesseract.js and English OCR language data when OCR is used. When your browser requests those resources, the providers may receive standard connection information such as your IP address, browser details, and the requested resource. OCR and PDF processing run in your browser; files are not uploaded to a Doczilla server. Review provider policies for details. The sponsor area may link to third-party websites; those sites have their own practices.
Information Doczilla collects
The current static site does not include Doczilla accounts, an analytics script, advertising trackers, or a Doczilla server that receives your PDFs. If you contact us by email, we will receive the information you choose to include in your message and email address.
Your eventual hosting provider may process request data, such as server logs, to deliver and protect the site. Check the provider's documentation and update this policy with the host and any services you enable before launch.
Cookies and local storage
The site saves your light or dark theme preference, favorite tools, and up to eight recently opened tools in your browser's local storage so it can remember your choices on future visits. These preferences are stored only in your browser and are not sent to Doczilla; you can remove them by clearing this site's local storage in your browser. The site does not intentionally set cookies. Your browser may separately handle downloads and cached website resources.
Children and policy changes
This site is a general-purpose utility and is not designed to collect personal information from children. We may update this policy when the site or its providers change; the date at the top indicates the latest revision.
